Nos enorgullece compartir que dos estudiantes de la Universidad @eafit (Ana Sofía Ramírez y Miguel Pimiento Restrepo), ambos del pregrado en 🗺️ Negocios Internacionales (@eafit_ib), y ambos miembros del 🌐 Global Citizen Research Group participaron en el Ports & Logistics Camp en Róterdam 🇳🇱

Durante una semana intensiva, participaron en masterclasses, visitas técnicas y simuladores de alta fidelidad que les permitieron profundizar en el funcionamiento del sistema portuario 🚢 y en las dinámicas que impulsan el comercio global 🌍. También tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender de expertos internacionales y de compartir con estudiantes brillantes de todo el país.

Agradecemos especialmente al ICETEX (@icetex_colombia) y a STC Next (@stc) por impulsar el talento colombiano 🇨🇴 hacia escenarios globales. Además a @internacionalizacion.eafit por el apoyo a los dos eafitenses.

📣 We have a new Head Coordinator, Ana Sofia Ramirez (6th Semester, Intl Business)

🇯🇵 Professor Coordinator (Prof. Juan Carlos Díaz) invited to be a visiting Professor at Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan

🗾 2 of our members are going to the SEED Program (Nataly Restrepo and Miguel Hoyos), and one of them got selected to be team leader (Miguel Hoyos)

🇨🇺 We got awarded financial aid from the Univeristy to present our Global Teams project in Cuba

🏆 2 of our projects are going to RedColSI Nationals in Bogotá (Website and Politica Pública)

One of our members, Isabela Díaz Chaverra, recently participated in an innovation and entrepreneurship program in Switzerland 🇨🇭, a collaboration between Universidad EAFIT and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW!

🏆 Isabela shares her inspiring journey of creating #Herbavita—a project born and fueled by a mission to make a lot of people’s life’s easier 🌱

🎙️IDC: “Tuve la fortuna de formar parte de Herbavita, un equipo internacional e interdisciplinario con compañeros de Colombia y Suiza. Juntos identificamos una problemática común: los efectos negativos de algunas proteínas tradicionales en la digestión y la falta de opciones realmente atractivas y saludables en el mercado colombiano.

Nuestra solución fue Herbavita, una proteína vegana en polvo con sabores frutales, pensada para personas activas que buscan una opción liviana y saludable. Investigamos, y validamos la idea con usuarios reales, diseñamos el modelo de negocio y finalmente presentamos nuestro pitch ante un panel internacional de expertos

Trabajar en un equipo tan diverso me enseñó muchísimo sobre colaboración, empatía y cómo construir una propuesta sólida desde distintas perspectivas. Sin duda, Herbavita fue más que un proyecto: fue una experiencia de creación con propósito.”

🫀 They’re all forms of intangible cultural heritage! Practices, expressions, and knowledge passed down through generations that shape the identity of communities.

🎾 On the cover: a tennis ball? Yes, and intentionally so. Tennis traces its roots back to 12th-century northern France, where monks played a ball game with their hands called jeu de paume (“game of the palm”). Over time, it evolved with the introduction of rackets in the 16th century, spreading across European courts and gaining popularity among royalty, particularly in France and England.

More than just a sport, tennis historically symbolized status, discipline, and ritualized competition.
