Beyond the music and the costumes, the space was about community 🌐. It was a reminder that research groups are not only spaces for rigorous academic work, but also for creativity, friendship, and collective identity.

Last December, four students from Universidad @eafit (two of them members of the Global Citizen Research Group 🌐) had the privilege of participating in the 2025 🇯🇵 SEED Program (made possible by the @gorom_association), accompanied by two amazing Professors: Juan Carlos Díaz and Camilo Pérez.

The SEED Program is a semester long experience in which students collaborate virtually with Japanese 🎌 businesses, culminating in an immersive two-week study visit to Japan 🗾

Throughout the program, academic guidance, mentorship, and stakeholder visits played a central role. Fostering reflection, cross-cultural learning, and academic rigor 📚 These moments capture more than a journey! They reflect meaningful exchanges, collaborative work, and a shared commitment to building bridges between cultures 🌏, ideas, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

En nuestro grupo de investigación, nos hicimos una pregunta clave: si el inglés domina la comunicación global… ¿hasta qué punto también impulsa el desarrollo económico? 🏦

El inglés no solo conecta personas. También dinamiza economías, fortalece el capital humano y amplía las posibilidades de inserción en la economía del conocimiento.

Nos enorgullece compartir que dos estudiantes de la Universidad @eafit (Ana Sofía Ramírez y Miguel Pimiento Restrepo), ambos del pregrado en 🗺️ Negocios Internacionales (@eafit_ib), y ambos miembros del 🌐 Global Citizen Research Group participaron en el Ports & Logistics Camp en Róterdam 🇳🇱

Durante una semana intensiva, participaron en masterclasses, visitas técnicas y simuladores de alta fidelidad que les permitieron profundizar en el funcionamiento del sistema portuario 🚢 y en las dinámicas que impulsan el comercio global 🌍. También tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender de expertos internacionales y de compartir con estudiantes brillantes de todo el país.

Agradecemos especialmente al ICETEX (@icetex_colombia) y a STC Next (@stc) por impulsar el talento colombiano 🇨🇴 hacia escenarios globales. Además a @internacionalizacion.eafit por el apoyo a los dos eafitenses.
